Kalansing, kalansing

Sa kabilang dingding

‘Di wari ang nangyayari

Sa sariling nabingi

Suklob ng takot at panganib

Anuman ang kahinatnan

Iatras o ituloy man

Saksing langit ang kalaban

Walang salitang mabibitawan

Kimkimin ang galit sa katawan

Dal’hin hanggang huli

Ang sakit na kawili-wili

Kalansing, kalansing

Sa kabilang dingding

Pulang agos ng dagat

‘Di pinansin ang alat

Walang makababatid

Sa damdaming namanhid

‘Pagkat bunga’y pintig

Na unti-unting napatid

Sa oportunistang lumuha

Oportunidad ay nawala

Ba’t ‘di ipakita sa madla

Ang ‘yong tunay na mukha

Irony

I’ve learned awful things, yet I found myself loving her more.

Love equals stupidity. Gah.

Blinded

There are certain things that make a man weak. These things hinder him to see the real things.

It was really good to be able to see again. Things are still a bit blurry, but somehow a bigger picture was painted.

The truth was in front of me all along.

It’s sad, nay painful, but everyone’s thoughts about it were true. Yes, even the closest ones. And I mean everyone.

(If it’s not Christmas, I will insert a devil’s smile here.)

We’ll get there.

We will.

Just wait.

Dear Santa

Please let me sleep this Christmas.

Or bring her back.

Even in my dreams. Or not.

I remember seeing this sign while I was going down to Manila from Tagaytay.

One of Lourd de Veyra’s slides during his ten-minute presentation at the Pecha Kucha night last week. Wasak.

To The One Who Taught Me How To Jump To My Song

No one sings like you do. Wish I could go back to the time when we were all alone and singing like there’s no tomorrow. Just the two of us.

Damn.

Sana’y matapos na, ‘di makapag-umpisa.:-|
